Course description:

This two-day intensive course is designed to provide clinicians with a comprehensive and practical approach to managing calcified root canals — one of the most challenging scenarios in endodontics.

On Day 1, participants will gain a strong theoretical foundation and learn key tips and tricks for freehand access to calcified canals. Through hands-on exercises using extracted and 3D-printed teeth, the course will emphasize the use of magnification, ultrasonics, and clinical decision-making to approach these complex cases manually and safely.

On Day 2, the focus shifts to the digital approach, guiding participants through the entire guided endodontics workflow. From CBCT data processing and planning with LimaGuide software to 3D printing of endodontic guides and hands-on guided access, participants will experience how technology can enhance precision and predictability in complex cases.

This course balances manual and digital techniques, helping clinicians choose and master the most appropriate strategy for each calcified case.
